EUROPA specializes in chamber music from Western and Eastern Europe including Russia and is based in Seattle. Its members include: Violinist Leonid Keylin, Seattle Symphony member and concertmaster of numerous New York based ensembles, trained in St. Petersburg, Russia and the Juilliard School; Cellist Mara Finkelstein, principal cellist with the Northwest Sinfonietta, trained at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Moscow, Russia; Pianist Jane Harty, Director of Music Northwest and long-time PLU faculty member; trained at L'Ecole Normale de Musique, Paris, France and the University of Southern California. Repertoire will include: Sonata in F Minor for Violin and Piano by Sergei Prokofiev Piano Trio in E Minor by Antonin Dvorak and more to be announced.

MBA Speaker Series
Tabling to recruit participants for a psychology experiment attached to the psychology department and Dr. Grahe's social psychology lab. The experiment is funded by a Severtson grant (sponsored by the Department of Social Sciences) awarded to Emily Hoppler Treichler.
Charles Witzleben, President, Supervalu International, will be the last speaker in the Fall 2009 State Farm MBA Executive Leadership Series.
We will be teaching and practicing unicycling. Meets in CK West EXCEPT for the following dates in East Campus gym: SEPT 21, SEPT 28, OCT 5, OCT 12, and NOV 23.
Weekly swing dance lessons and a dance at the end of the month!
Students will be completing sociology research surveys as part of the Sociology Research Experience class requirement. ALL SESSIONS WILL TAKE PLACE IN ADMIN-216.

A psychology experiment will be run during this time, consisting of a survey taking about 30 minutes in duration.

ASPLU senators and directors meet to conduct legislation for the student body. Meetings are held every Tuesday at 6:15pm and are open to campus. Students are encouraged to attend. Meetings held in UC-133 with the following exceptions: SEPT 22 in UC-171 (SIL Multi-Purpose Room) and SEPT 29 in UC-201.
Band Series: University Wind Ensemble
Holden Evening Prayer centers on prayer, meditation, and silence. Worship is held Tuesday evenings at 9:00 PM in Tower Chapel in Eastvold. A light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.
