Brandy Lehde is a senior Bachelor of Music in Education major.
The first-year students involved in Emerging Leaders will meet up in the upper level of the Columbia Center for their second annual fall retreat. They will be "camping" overnight in the room, participating in ice breaker activities and small group discussions, and will break later in the night for free time playing board games, watching movies, and eventually sleeping. The students plan to bring their own tents, sleeping pads, and sleeping bags to stay over for this event. Amber Dehne will be present until 10pm, and then we will work with the RD on duty to check in.

EUROPA specializes in chamber music from Western and Eastern Europe including Russia and is based in Seattle. Its members include: Violinist Leonid Keylin, Seattle Symphony member and concertmaster of numerous New York based ensembles, trained in St. Petersburg, Russia and the Juilliard School; Cellist Mara Finkelstein, principal cellist with the Northwest Sinfonietta, trained at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Moscow, Russia; Pianist Jane Harty, Director of Music Northwest and long-time PLU faculty member; trained at L'Ecole Normale de Musique, Paris, France and the University of Southern California. Repertoire will include: Sonata in F Minor for Violin and Piano by Sergei Prokofiev Piano Trio in E Minor by Antonin Dvorak and more to be announced.

MBA Speaker Series
Tabling to recruit participants for a psychology experiment attached to the psychology department and Dr. Grahe's social psychology lab. The experiment is funded by a Severtson grant (sponsored by the Department of Social Sciences) awarded to Emily Hoppler Treichler.

Band Series: University Wind Ensemble
Holden Evening Prayer centers on prayer, meditation, and silence. Worship is held Tuesday evenings at 9:00 PM in Tower Chapel in Eastvold. A light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.
